Fantastic Holiday Cottage

We had a lovely holiday, the cottage was spacious, very well maintained and furnished to a high standard. The setting was peaceful with a large private garden for relaxing in. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Findhorn or beyond.

Had a fabulous two weeks in this wonderful house. Everything you need for a great holiday. Excellent location for walks, biking, the beach & the local amenities. The garden is great to relax in and also a great BBQ area with a good size table for dining el fresco.

Another fabulous stay

Another fabulous stay in Findhorn. We love this house and garden. It is very clean and comfortable. We saw deer in the garden twice, also red squirrels in the trees. It is a short walk to the river to watch the Ospreys. We saw Sand Martins nesting in the cliffs at the beach. We had lovely meals out. The Kimberley is excellent. We also enjoyed pizzas at the Foundation cafe. The fish and chip shop in Forres is excellent. Indians are so so. We didn’t like the Abbey Inn. It’s just a lovely place to holiday

A real sanctuary

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our needs, with all amenities provided. Very comfortable seating and bed. It was lovely and quiet, and only a short stroll to the beach, where we were lucky enough to catch the Aurora on our first night. The dolphins eluded us, but we did see seals and an otter. Lovely food at the Kimberley Inn, and the Bakehouse has amazing bread. It is a beautiful place, with plenty of benches to watch the world go by.

This house is by far the best place we have ever stayed in. The location is superb, it’s so quiet and peaceful. The house itself has everything you would ever need to make your stay comfortable, the beds are divine. I had to email the owner with a couple of questions and the response was almost immediate. Always nice to know you can ask somebody for information and get a quick answer. The surrounding area is beautiful, walks and beaches are fantastic, we saw seals swimming in the sea near the house and deer in the small forest at the back of the house. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be booking again for next year. Thank you to the owners for letting their beautiful home to us .
